Founded in 1959, we now have over 5,500 members forming a richly connected community of practice with a goal to ensure the profession is respected and valued.
Membership Types
Membership is open to teachers, researchers, principals, leaders, administrators and others with appropriate qualifications and experience.
| Full Member | $203 | Professional educator with a recognised teaching qualification. |

| Career Entrant | $105 | Qualified teachers immediately following graduation for a maximum of three years. |
| Retired Member | $91 | Full members no longer in paid employment. |
| Companion Member | $203 | Available to those who do not satisfy entry requirements, but who wish to subscribe to Education Review, Professional Educator and other ACE publications (e.g. libraries) |
| Overseas Members | $155 | Members who are working overseas. |
| Student Member | $52 | Full-time undergraduate students in Australia. Free student membership is avaliable that only includes electronic publications and event notices. Click here to download the free student application form. |
Corporate Membership
Provides membership opportunities to a broader range of educators within a school or institution. It is seen as a good way for organisations, institutions or schools to develop their staff and keep them informed of current thinking and developments as well as providing broad networking oppertunities at the local level.
