The Darling Down region of the Australian College of Educators invite you to attend a Book Night Out 'Across the Story Bridge'

The evening will open with a networking session and will follow with a presentation from Dr Geoff Bull and Dr Michèle Anstey.

Dr Geoff Bull & Dr Michèle Anstey will critique the 2010 Children's Book of the Year finalists. They will show the books and discuss how they can be used effectively in promoting literacy development with children.

Former Associate Professors in Education at USQ, Michèle and Geoff have extensive experience in literacy education and children's literature. In recent years, they have played a significant role in the Literate Futures Project and the rewrite of the Years 1-10 English Syllabus.

They now run ABC Anstey & Bull Consultants in Education. They have published widely and their books are essential reading for many university literacy education courses throughout Australia as well as overseas.

Following the presentation, guests can view the books and purchase copies at a discounted price.
