Implementing a system wide, evidence-based approach to professional learning to enhance student learning

We would like to invite all ACE Members from Tasmania to the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania for a two course dinner and to see Brett Manion speak.

Brett Manion from Learning Services South East, will be speaking about how they are implementing a system wide, evidence based approach to professional learning. This approach has been shown to significantly improve student learning rates.

The presentation will focus on:

• An evidence based approach to professional learning that builds the bridge from teacher learning to improved practice - linked to improved student outcomes.


• A systemic approach to supported implementation across thirty schools in Learning Services South East.
