The theme recognises the critical role of teachers as partners in school leadership, working in teams, utilising evidence with the principal, the school executive and school community, and determining directions to lead quality teaching and learning.

Maria Gray-Spence, NSW DET Regional Director (ISE), Prof. Frank Crowther (Senior Consultant, Leadership Research Institute), Prof. Steve Dinham (Research Director - Teaching, Learning and Leadership, ACER) and Prof. Jim Tognolini (Director of Pearson Research and Assessment, Oxford University and University of Wollongong).
