College Fellow Tony Ryan is our Archivist, and is based in Adelaide. Following initial teaching, for many years Tony Ryan enjoyed a long career with ABC Education Radio, and with (5UV) Radio Adelaide, at The University of Adelaide. Since 1993, and in conjunction with the National Library of Australia, he has also been responsible for Conversations, the oral history project of the College, to ensure recordings to date with some 55 significant educators associated with the College. Currently Visiting Media Fellow with Adult Learning Australia, Tony now produces and presents Learning Works, a weekly lifelong learning radio and internet initiative through PBA FM in Adelaide, where he also presents classical music programs. As College Archivist, Tony works in a leased area within the new National Archives building of the Lutheran Church in Australia. College members visiting Adelaide are invited to visit the College Archive – appointment is essential.
