Western Australia's 2011 Walter Neal Oration and Awards Evening


The signature event of the year for the Western Australian Chapter was held on 1st August, 2011 at Scotch College in Swanbourne, WA.  The Annual Walter Neal oration was delivered by Dr Ken Michael AC who is the Immediate Past Governor of Western Australia.  A most enjoyable evening was had by over 80 attendees who dined on stylish and creative canapés by Herb Faust, the winning contestant of Iron Chef Australia in 2010.


The prestigious College Medal was awarded to Professor Alan Robson for his outstanding commitment to education.  Fellowships were awarded to Professor Richard Berlach and Professor Simon Clarke.  A number of milestone membership awards including  five, ten, fifteen, twenty and twenty five years were awarded, along with life membership.
