PLM06 Career Planning and Management 14 May and 4 June

The final session for PLM06 was delivered at The Hills Grammar School last Thursday 4 June. The afternoon was a great success!

The next module PLM04 'Working with People' will be delivered in term 3, 13 August and 3 September. You can register for PLM04 by completing the registration form.

Background 

A joint venture between University of Wollongong and ACE, Professional Learning Modules PLMs - The PLMs provides high quality, rigorous and relevant professional learning that encompasses the best of professional guidance and online learning support.

Six Professional Learning Modules have been developed and are presented by acknowledged experts in their field. In preparing the program we have ensured relevance for teachers and leaders in relation to both content and preferred modes of learning. The modules have been designed to satisfy the formal professional learning requirements for teacher registration processes and approval is being sought.

Optional Accreditation

If attendees choose to get formal university accreditation they can undertake an 8 week online course (following the presentation) which includes an assignment which is due at the end of the 8 weeks (max 2,000 words or equivalent).

If attendees choose this path each PLM requires approximately 25 hours of work. This includes the face to face sessions then the remainder of the course online at your own pace. The course and assignments are marked by the university and successful completion of the 6 modules can earn a 25% credit towards a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Wollongong or its equivalent (e.g. Macquarie University, UWS) if participants choose to take this up.
