ACE Victorian Branch New and Life Members Function
The Victorian branch of ACE held its new and life member ceremony in the Castlefield Library, Brighton Campus, Haileybury, on the evening of 4th April 2011.
Fran Cosgrove from the Victorian Institute of Teachers was the invited speaker for the evening. Ms Cosgrove gave a presentation on progress on the introduction of professional standards for teachers. She provided a clear and useful summary of the proposed structure of the standards and also the various national state bodies responsible for the design, introduction and administration of these.
At the ceremony attending new members and those who have been a part of ACE for 25 and 30 years (Life Members) were introduced by State President Annette Rome and presented with certificates and badges.
