The Hobart Branch of ACE warmly welcomed Prof Erica McWilliam for her presentation: 'From Sage to Guide to Meddler in the Middle'. With participants from north andsouth of the state Erica opened up the world of learning skills required for 21^st Century learning and the skills necessary for teaching in our time. Lively discussion followed the presentation.

The Hutchins School was the venue for the colloquium, and we were pleased to be able to welcome as participants the Governor, His Excellency the Honourable Mr Peter Underwood and Mrs Frances Underwood, MACE.
