The AW Jones Oration was held on the 7^th June with 165 leaders in attendance. It was an inspirational and and thought provoking Oration. Greg presented us with many challenges about schooling for the future and 21^st Century Learning. Greg is an Educational Leader who values teachers and their willingness to be lifelong learners and finds a way forward to solve the problem of moving learning into the 21^st Century across his schools.

Some of the challenges he presented us with at the Oration were:

• There is a need to moving from old models of education and schooling and to reconceptualising this.
• Connecting our young people with the learning opportunities that don't exist in schools
• Providing learning opportunities that engage students v stuck in traditional models of classrooms
• The need for quality teachers and the belief that every student can learn
