2011 QUALITY TEACHING AWARDS
The College, with the substantial support of the Awards and Recognition Unit, NSW
Department of Education and Communities, held another highly successful
presentation ceremony to 21 recipients at Government House on Monday, 7
November with the awards being presented by the NSW Minister for Education, the
Hon. Adrian Piccoli. The award, with its focus on referees' reports, professional
learning portfolios and site visitations for short-listed applicants, has long been
regarded as the most rigorous award for classroom teaching in Australia.
