There is little available in the literature regarding the evaluation of LOTE programs, especially ones in the primary school sector. With this in mind, a broader perspective within the education evaluation literature is consulted to complete an evaluation of a primary school LOTE program initiative. We outline the theoretical perspective taken and review the evaluation procedures. We then present some of the empirical findings and discuss the ensuing concerns of the project. This article delineates evaluation issues and provides discussion about an active primary LOTE initiative.
