ACARA news and updates for Australian teachers and principals now included in Education Review
Friday 12 March 2010
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and APN Educational Media today announced a partnership that will see news and updates that are relevant to all teachers and school principals being published in Education Review.
"Beginning this month, principals and teachers will have access to information and updates directly from ACARA," said ACARA Chief Executive, Dr Peter Hill.
In 2010 Education Review will contain reports of particular interest on all of the initiatives being run by ACARA, including the My School website and the Australian Curriculum.
"We expect Education Review to be a major reference point for schools in 2010. We are delighted to have the support of ACARA in supplying principals and teachers with valuable first-hand information on these critical initiatives," said APN Educational Media CEO, Michael Scott.
The distribution of Education Review to all Australian schools will make it by far the most important publication for this sector.
"Teachers and principals are invited to contribute to the debate and advise us on issues of special interest," said Dr Hill.
