ACE to Undertake Major Study on VET Teaching

Under a funding agreement with the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the Australian College of Educators will undertake an investigation of factors that affect the quality of VET teaching and the quality of the result of the VET experience as perceived by employers and the graduates themselves.  The project will commence during August and is scheduled to conclude in March 2010.  A steering committee, composed of key stakeholders from the private and public sectors, has been established to oversee the work, which will be carried out by researchers engaged by the College.
